Remember Pasar Santa that was super hyped like 1-2 years ago? Well a month ago I paid a visit there and find out that they’re struggling to keep their business going.
Well of course with the success of Pasar Santa, there’s obviously envious people, and in this case, the owner’s of the stall being a jerk and raise the price of the rent on his own term. Most of the sellers decided to left Pasar Santa.
And now, Pasar Santa has lost it’s magic with only few stalls still open..
I guess it’s too early to say goodbye to Pasar Santa and I hope that there’s a new regulation from the government or whoever’s in charge to keep one of Jakarta’s most unique and distinguished market keep alive.
