It’s my second time visiting Semarang in just 2021. For me, #SemarangSekarang is very different than the last time I visit Semarang which was in 2017. It’s a more poetic city and not overly-romanticized compared to Yogyakarta. The culinary destinations are also a little bit more interesting to me since it’s not so exposed and I have a friend that helped me discover those hidden places which would otherwise only known by the locals.
One of the highlight of my visit this time is my stay at Rooms Inc Hotel — managed by artotel group.
Located in the heart of Semarang above one of well managed mall in Semarang. With it’s convenient location, the hotel is easily accessible from Semarang’s finest destinations.
The lobby is so impressive, it contains of 4 areas; each serve it’s own purpose.
Grab & Go — for quick breakfast, coffee, pastry and etc
Verve — eatery that serve selection of western food.
Alfrecoo — lounge area featuring live music EVERYDAY!
I stayed for 2 nights on their superior queen bed. The room is quite small tbh but still comfortable even for the two of us to enjoy the night.
Minimalistic and nice boutique-concept hotel room that they’re providing is above my expectation for a 3 stars hotel.
They already do contact-less hotel check in where you store the access key to the room only by using your smartphone. Hassle free and alternatives way to minimizing the physical front desk check-in.
Would highly recommend this hotel to future guests. You’ll feel very welcomed by the friendly staffs to make your stay a pleasant one. The price is also very competitive. Not to mention you’ll be favored just by the location alone which is very close to the famous eateries that probably are already on your list.
